The children were excited to see the finished Advent Creature (still not 100 % sure what it is , although Hebe has named it Mistletoe Mouse) this morning , and even more excited to find her chocolate filled pockets !
The old faithful Nativity Scene Calender I made is making what must be its tenth appearance, but still remains a firm favourite with everyone taking a turn each day to see what is in the numbered pockets (the older ones obviously remember from previous years but still seem to enjoy it).
We are hoping for a quite weekend, Chris will be busy with assignments and Freya has asked to bake and make cards, sounds lovely....
'Busy with assignments' - we had both our boys when Ben was studying for his PhD and what you say here and on my post sound very familiar! I can honestly say it was all well worth it in the end...
