I found the instructions to make these felt beads in some things that my mother gave me when she visited. It was from an old copy of People's Friend magazine (not a magazine I see very often unless in the dentist or doctors waiting room !).The beads are made by wrapping length of felt around a skewer and securing with contrasting embroidery thread. They can be wrapped again with thread with seed beads on or left plain as these ones are. I love the vivid colours and think that they will make great childrens necklaces or bracelets etc.
I will post photos when I decide what to do with these ones.
