I have been featured on
Sharon who is a style consultant and freelance fashion writer wrote a great post about me and featured some of my items, pump bag, dresses etc...
Its great to see feedback and to know other people like the things I make too...
Another place I received very positive feedback was at the school Summer fair yesterday afternoon, Lots of orders taken and sold out of a lot of the little hairbands, key-rings, slides etc that I had made...
So, off to get all my orders made up now, and I will see you tomorrow for Crafty Sunday...
Well done selling so much. I thought all your items were delish, so I am not surprised. Congrats too on being featured...Going to read it now!
ReplyDeleteI am not surprised the fair did well, your crafts are beautiful and look really professional.
ReplyDeleteCongrats! That's great news! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Maria,so glad your fair went well, there was a lovely response to your work was'n't there. Thanks for mentioning me.Let me know if you want to trade blog links with me. Sharon xx
ReplyDeleteGood for you Maria - it's great to hear so much good news in one post - and cracking that elusive school fair market - those mums are a hard bunch to please I think! (I'm being serious, not sarcastic, I've read some terrible stories of people donating quilts to school auctions and not even making back what they cost to make which must be really frustrating).
ReplyDeleteMaria, I am happy for you that your fair was successful , that is really wonderful and I am not surprised either as your work is very well done and very creative . I just read the post about you and that was both interesting and true , a talented lady you are .
ReplyDeleteHi honey, just wanted to say how much I love the little purses - am going to have a go myself as soon as I have made a union jack pillow! And to answer your question, yes, the Lucy cotton is very, very splitty but the colours are amazing - maybe a bit bright for my usual taste but I'm persevering. I'm using a number 4 hook which isn't too bad but I wouldn't choose this yarn again. Good luck xx
