I have been very busy with my crafting this week, preparing things for the stall I will have at the Children's School Summer Fair that will be held on Friday....
As well as the usual things I make I have tried to keep a large percentage of items under the £10.00 mark as I find that people don't actually take a lot of money to these type of fairs...
I have made a pile of these.....
Great little pencil wallets with coloured pencils and little sketch book....(£7.00)
A few of these denim Union Jack messenger bags...(£10.00)...
And lots of bits for a few pounds....
Little cotton bags with elastic made to French skipping and Cat's cradle lengths...(very popular)...(£3.00)..
Cotton head bands.....(£3.00)
Felt bead jewellery.... (£2.50)....
These 'Flower power' headbands on elastic that the older girls all seem to like.....(£3.00)...
And button hair slides... (£3.00)
Wow!! I love all your items!! I have been thinking of making up some things for the christmas fairs around here and the same applies... The more economically prized stuff does better... but, you have to have your costs and time paid for don't you? These all looked super! I hope they do well!!
ReplyDeleteHi there, Adore the button slides! Wondered if you might like to feature as my next blog post?My Passport to Style features womens and childrens styles and fashions and we are practicaly neighbours! I live in Lancaster! Sharon x

ReplyDeleteGreat selection, all those fabulous goodies should do really well at the school fair.
ReplyDeleteThose union jack bags are fabulous (you could guess I would pounce on those). Can I see a close up of the UJs, how have you made them? They lookk beautiful in all those different fabrics.
ReplyDeleteThey are fantastic - I love the hair bands, I have been growing my hair and like to wear a hair band during the day (do not like my hair in my eyes) but do not seem able to find nice colourful hairbands but yours are just what I would want - would you be willing to sell me one or two if I send you a stamped addressed envelope? can pay through paypal if you so wish. I love the pink spot (large and small).

ReplyDeleteYour wise to make things that are under £10, in my previous job we had a family day fair and the little things sold out in a few hours!
Good Luck and let us know how it went :)
