We had a great family day out yesterday at Brockhole - The Lake District visitor centre..
We go here quite a lot at various times of the year, but Autumn is particularly stunning...

The children had fun on the adventure playground and had it virtually to themselves as the local children must have all been back at school (our do not go back until tomorrow)....

Because it was so quiet, Clemmie got to have her first turn on the zip wire, suffice to say she loved it !

This little robin appeared as we were having Hot Chocolate after our walk ( well the grown ups had Hot Chocolate, the children had ice lollies ! Brrrrrr ...

ReplyDeleteStunning photographs, I adore the almost black and white photo. We used to have wonderful holidays in the Lake District when the boys were young, it is such a beautiful area and we all thoroughly enjoyed it, even in the deep winter!
