I have been working on my very first commission over the last few weeks...
It seems to have taken longer than that actually, but that is probably because I have been working on it a couple of hours at a time rather than in one go...

I had been commissioned to make this by a friend Lisa who runs the fantastic http://www.talkingtots.info/ along with Tracey.
They wanted a map to use at trade fairs/shows to mark on the now many, Talking Tots franchises all over the country.

I also made them some bunting with the Talking Tots name and logo on.
I enjoyed making this, but would not be in a hurry to make another !, now I'm moving onto something completely different, the new Me and Ma Spring/Summer children's clothing range, more of that to come soon......

ReplyDeleteYes Bridget I did sew all the way round the British Isles !, after drawing it all out freehand and cutting it all out I felt as though I had ran round the real thing !!
