Well, that's it for another School year and six weeks to enjoy before we have to start it all over again !
I managed to finish off the the little pouches that I made for the children's teachers...
I hope that they liked them....
I think this Amy Butler fabric one was my favourite...
So, what have I planned for the next few weeks ?..
A bit more of this....
....name tape sewing, I have always used the sew in woven labels, but now having three lots of uniform to sew labels into I am questioning why I have never gone for iron on !...
I need to update my Folksy shop and list some new stock, as well as contacting some 'real' shops that have been expressing an interest in my 'stuff'.
But the best thing is not to be bound by school runs, and not having to be any particular place by any particular time....
That's brilliant you've got real shops showing interest in your stuff - good for you!

ReplyDeleteThose pouches are adorable! Congrats on the bricks and mortar interest, too, that's brilliant!
ReplyDelete(and I am - and have always been - an iron-on girl. And I've only got 1 kid!)
The pouches are lovely - hope they went down well! Looking forward to the bliss of no packed lunches to make and no chivvying to the bus stop.
ReplyDeleteI always found the iron ones fell off after a couple of washes. Enjoy the hols.

oooH lovely pouches.
ReplyDeleteI tried iron on tapes but they washed off eventually.
ReplyDeleteI just bet the teachers were thrilled to reach these sweet little pouches ,so useful for so many things .I am surprised your school term is this long , it ended here the end of June.
ReplyDeleteWowo those pouches are beautiful ... what lucky teachers! I am a teacher and mum of 3 and must say sew in name tapes are the best, others fade and come adrift! :)
